Description: I love the rich colors of brown trout. This is my acrylic painting of a trout in a cold, dark stream along with other fish near the bottom. They are still close enough to the surface to see any flies landing on top of the water. A brown trout swims gracefully through a dark, aquatic environment, surrounded by green plants and subtle reflections from above. The water is depicted with gentle circular ripples, adding a sense of movement.

Description: This is my acrylic painting of a male Eastern bluebird. This is the state bird of Missouri and New York. Bluebirds have long been associated with joy, happiness and luck. I was inspired to paint this bluebird are they are one of my favorites and I see them often in my yard. Bluebirds have been featured in movies and songs. A vibrant bluebird is perched on a slender branch against a soft, blue sky. Delicate green leaves sprout from the branch, adding a touch of natural elegance to the scene.

Description: This is my acrylic painting of a beautiful woman in Paris at night. For the sky I was inspired to paint my interpretation of Van Gogh’s famous “Starry Night” painting. The Eiffel Tower shines brightly among the stars in the sky. The woman has a cute dog at her side in her purse. I used a magenta pearlescent paint for her dress and the bow on her dogs’ head. A woman in a pink outfit stands in front of the Eiffel Tower, set against a swirling night sky reminiscent of Van Gogh’s style. She holds a small dog and wears a large black hat adorned with pink details.

Description: I painted this lucky four-leaf clover with watercolor and added salt for the special magical effects. (A three-leaf clover is called a shamrock.) The four-leaf clover has come to represent the Holy Trinity, one leaf representing the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit and God’s Grace. The four-leaf clover is considered good luck to find one since your chances of finding one are 1 in 10,000! If you find one, giving it to someone doubles your luck. A golden four-leaf clover stands out against a textured, earthy background. Rich hues of yellow and brown create a sense of warmth and depth.
