This is my acrylic painting of a happy brown booby bird on a rocky ledge near the water. Its open break and detailed feathers show realism. I was very inspired to do this painting from seeing a brown booby in Kansas City Missouri that was over 1,000 miles from their normal territory of the Caribbean tropical oceans. Lee, my brother and I found this bird then he took an excellent resource photo for this painting.
