Labrador tracking, search and rescue dog Mug

This is my acrylic painting of a labrador retriever dog used for tracking, search and rescue. These dogs have exceptional, highly trainable sense of smell. They have been used to follow scent trails, locate hidden objects, and track people. Labs are also used to track, locate and help remove invasive Burmese pythons in the Florida everglades. They also work with police for drug and bomb detection. I have had labradors as pets that are wonderful caring parts of the family.
