This is my acrylic painting of Chippy and Missy Squirrel in the fall storing walnuts, pecans, acorns and corn cobs for winter food inside the tree. Chippy and Missy face each other lovingly after gathering the food. This painting is in the Chippy Squirrel book illustrations collection. The Chippy Squirrel book has this painting along with others of the squirrel’s adventures. I had a blast re-illustrating the second edition of this children’s book written by my aunt.
