Chippy meets mother skunk at the big barn Shorts

This is my acrylic painting of Chippy Squirrel meeting and visiting with mother skunk at the big rustic barn. The skunk has a pop art style tail. The barn sits under a clear blue sky, adding to the rural charm. The creek and pasture are over the hill in the distance. The illustration of the barn was done based on the actual metal barn of the authors Dad. I spent lots of time working with my Grandad in and around this barn as a boy. This painting is in the Chippy Squirrel book illustrations collection. The Chippy Squirrel book has this painting along with others of the squirrel’s adventures.
