Grey heron at the lake Hat

This is my acrylic painting of a grey heron standing elegantly at the water’s edge in the reeds at the lake. The serene setting features blue ripples on the water and gentle grass tufts. These birds are found in the temperate regions of Europe, Asia and parts of Africa. They breed in colonies and usually build their nests high in trees. They have been featured on coats of arms, stamps and in historical archives.
