Bag FAQ

This is my detailed drawing on black paper of a male firefly doing a glow show on the night of a full moon against a starry night backdrop. The moon shines brightly, creating a luminous effect around the firefly. They are also called lightning bugs or glowworms. Fireflies are actually beetles, not flies and are known for producing light by bioluminescence to communicate and find mates. They are facing global decline due to habitat loss; pesticide use and light pollution. The males produce the light which can be yellow, green or orange to attract mates.
