This is my drawing of my study of some delicate blue bachelor’s button flowers. The sketch features simple yet detailed botanical elements. It is also known as the cornflower since it is often seen as a weed in grain and cornfields. Historically young men wore them as a sign of availability and love. It is used as a symbol in Germany, Estonia, Sweden, France and other countries. They are edible and can be used for medicinal purposes.
