Mockingbird in flight Kids Hoodie

This is my acrylic painting of a northern mockingbird while in flight giving a “wing flash” where it opens its wings showing off the big white patches. Mockingbirds sing all through the day and often at night. It can mimic the calls of other birds and manmade noises like music and machinery. This bird is the state bird of AR, FL, MS, TN and TX. The contrasting black and white feathers add detail to the bird's dynamic pose.
