This is my acrylic painting of three dragonflies dancing in the wind. I used a pearlescent paint for the shimmering highlights on the dragonflies. Dragonflies have been the subject of myths and tales throughout history. Many tales and stories also feature the number three. I was inspired to paint these dragonflies as I see them flying and hoovering around my yard and garden often with a nearby pond. Grass at the bottom adds a natural element to the scene, creating a lively and vibrant outdoor atmosphere.
