This is my mixed media painting of fishing for some catfish. These popular fish are named for their prominent barbels, which resemble a cat’s whiskers. I used watercolor, ink and acrylics for this fishing scene. Two catfish gracefully swim against a swirling blue background, their whiskers entangled with a worm. Their bodies form a heart shape, giving a sense of harmony in nature.
