This is my acrylic painting on black paper of the barred spiral Milky Way Galaxy. It is estimated to contain 100-400 billion stars and at least that number of planets including planet Earth. A luminescent spiral galaxy is depicted against the dark universe, with swirling rings and scattered stars capturing a sense of cosmic wonder. The vibrant green and white hues contrast with the black backdrop to create a mesmerizing and otherworldly effect.
