This is my mixed media painting of a bull skull with desert cactus at sunset in Arizona. I had a blast using salt in the watercolor for the special effects of the desert and sky. The rest of the painting is done with acrylics. A large bull skull is centered among blooming cacti and a towering saguaro against a warm, desert background. The word "ARIZONA" boldly accentuates the southwestern theme.
