This is my mixed media painting of a bull skull with desert cactus at sunset. I had a blast using salt in the watercolor for the special effects of the desert and sky. The rest of the painting is done with acrylics. A desert landscape features a large bull skull with prominent horns surrounded by cacti blooming with pink flowers. Shades of yellow and brown dominate the background, evoking a warm, arid atmosphere.
