This is my acrylic painting of the overlook of the Colorado river winding around the Horseshoe Bend at the Glen Canyon Recreation area at sunset. This has become one of the most recognized and visited places in the Glen Canyon area. In the distance, the sky transitions from blue to a warm yellow and orange as the sun sets, casting a serene glow over the landscape.
