This is my acrylic painting of a black-headed gull at the shore. They are a bold and opportunistic feeder. Its scientific name means laughing gull. This bird is the official bird of Tokyo, Japan and a major player in the book Watership Down. The serene water and clear sky create a calm and tranquil atmosphere.
