This is my acrylic painting of the Wyoming state bird and flower, the Western meadowlark and Indian paintbrush. Wyoming was admitted to the union on July 10, 1890 as the 44th state. Meadowlarks are a common songbird of open prairies. This painting is part of my state birds and flowers collection.
