This is my acrylic painting of the Florida state bird and flower, which are the common mockingbird and orange blossom. The mocking bird is a superb songbird and mimic. Oranges are a large part of the state’s agriculture industry. Florida was admitted to the union on March 3, 1845 as the 27th state. This painting is part of my state birds and flowers collection.
