This is my acrylic painting of a horse for the Chinese Year of the Horse. The horse symbolizes power, beauty, and freedom in the Chinese culture. People born in the year of the horse are high-spirited, active and energetic. This is my mixed media painting (watercolor/acrylic) of a beautiful golden Palomino horse running on the beach with a spray from the surf. The white mane and tail of the horse are blowing in the sea breeze. Bold text reads "YEAR OF THE HORSE" across the foreground.
