This is my mixed media painting of the scales/skin of a lizard using watercolor and ink giving it camouflage in the plants. This is part in my “Wildlife Skins” series. Interlocking scales form a pattern across a background of variegated green and yellow hues. The design mimics the texture and appearance of reptilian skin.
