This is my acrylic painting of an astronaut raising the United States flag on the moon as seen in the reflection of another astronaut’s space helmet. An astronaut on the moon is reflected in the visor of another spacesuit, with the American flag visible in the lunar landscape. Stars dot the dark sky, emphasizing the vastness of space.
