This is my painting in mixed media (acrylic and watercolor) of a dragonfly on a lily pad that is surrounded by frogs. There are ripples in the water expanding from the lily pad. The frogs are in a mandala pattern around the lily pad. I blew acrylic bubbles on the scene to create the bubble effects. I used a pearlescent acrylic for the shimmer on the dragonfly wings. A dragonfly rests on a green lily pad surrounded by several frogs in a circular pattern. The background features swirling shades of blue and purple, creating a sense of motion and harmony.
