Bobwhite Quail Flushed Bag

This is my acrylic painting of a bobwhite quail that is flushed to flying across the field. I am inspired to paint these quail that were seen and heard at my Grandparents farm. A bobwhite quail with its wings spread wide is depicted in mid-flight above tall grasses under a partly cloudy sky. Earthy tones of brown and gold dominate the scene, giving a sense of natural tranquility.
