I love the rich colors of brown trout. This is my acrylic painting of a trout in a cold, dark stream along with other fish near the bottom. They are still close enough to the surface to see any flies landing on top of the water. A brown trout swims gracefully through a dark, aquatic environment, surrounded by green plants and subtle reflections from above. The water is depicted with gentle circular ripples, adding a sense of movement.
