Description: This is my acrylic painting of a covey of quail ready to burst into flight. I was inspired to paint these birds after seeing coveys at my Grandparents farm. The bobwhite quail are depicted amidst dense greenery, surrounded by vibrant yellow and orange flowers. The natural setting conveys a sense of tranquility and harmony in the wilderness.

Description: This landscape is a farm scene with a farmer (my Uncle) and great grandkids walking on a path to the barn checking on the cattle and doing the chores all as a part of The Country Life. There are cattle near the barn and also in the distant field beyond the pond.

Description: This is my acrylic painting of a male rose-breasted grosbeak. I had a male and female rose-breasted grosbeak at our bird feeder. The rose bib of the male with the black and white feathers are striking to see. I was so inspired; I had to paint this beautiful rose-breasted grosbeak. A grosbeak with a striking red and black plumage is perched elegantly against a soft, muted background. Its vibrant red chest contrasts with the subtle tones surrounding it.

I love the beautiful mountains and trees with the awesome mirror reflection of nature’s beauty on the lake. Bear Lake is a scenic trailhead and destination in Rocky Mountain National Park. Some have been seen with more of a blue shade. I was inspired to paint this one with a darker blue shade.
