He had a big tackle box full of all kinds of interesting lures. I would look in amazement at all the lure shapes and sizes, with propellers, beads, hooks and shiny objects! The name of this bird is from Charles Andrew Allen, who identified the bird in California in 1879. A hummingbird with vibrant green and brown plumage hovers amidst a pattern of large, vivid red hibiscus flowers. The composition captures the delicate balance and beauty of nature.
