Description: This is my acrylic painting of Motif number 1. I was so inspired to draw and paint the famous Motif #1 building near sailboats in Rockport, MA. Many lobster buoys hang on the outside of the building. Description: This is my acrylic painting of a Desert Cardinal or Pyrrhuloxia. This is a song bird found in the American Southwest and Northern Mexico. These birds are typically red/brown/gray color. Some have been seen with more of a blue shade. I was inspired to paint this one with a darker blue shade. A vibrant desert cardinal with a striking red and black tail perches on a delicate branch, set against a soft, muted background. Its expressive crest and detailed plumage highlight its exotic appearance.

Description: This is my acrylic painting of a pair of cardinals in the cold winter snow. This painting is dedicated to Dixie Brooks, who loves cardinals and it was her high school team mascot. Many say when cardinals appear angels are near. Two vivid cardinals are depicted perched on snow-covered branches, showcasing their striking red plumage against the wintry background. The evergreen needles scattered with snow add a seasonal touch, enhancing the contrast with the birds.
Description: This is my acrylic painting of a barn on a farm. I spent many weekends as a boy on a farm near Hume, Missouri, with my Grandparents. Lots of activities were around barns. Whether we were getting corn for the hogs, putting up hay, cleaning fish, or doctoring the cattle, we beat a good path to and from the barns. Grain was stored in the Butler bin on the left. We’d draw water out of the pump in front of the barn. If you look closely along the gravel road leading to the barn, you’ll see some quail. Quail were often heard and seen around the farm. I got the inspiration to create this acrylic painting from my times spent here and in remembrance of my Granddad and Grandma. I have since painted several barns and farm homes, on canvas and saw blade
