Description: This is my acrylic painting of a farm after a snow storm. The heavy snow can be seen on the roof of the barn and in the field along the fences. Description: This is my acrylic painting of a barn on a farm. I spent many weekends as a boy on a farm near Hume, Missouri, with my Grandparents. Lots of activities were around barns. Whether we were getting corn for the hogs, putting up hay, cleaning fish, or doctoring the cattle, we beat a good path to and from the barns. Grain was stored in the Butler bin on the left. We’d draw water out of the pump in front of the barn. If you look closely along the gravel road leading to the barn, you’ll see some quail. Quail were often heard and seen around the farm. I got the inspiration to create this acrylic painting from my times spent here and in remembrance of my Granddad and Grandma. I have since painted several barns and farm homes, on canvas and saw blade

Description: I love painting turkeys and sunsets, so I had to do this acrylic painting. My painting has a tom turkey strutting with his feathers out to impress a hen turkey as the sun sets. A vibrant scene features a turkey prominently in the foreground against a backdrop of an autumn landscape and a colorful sunset. Trees with scattered leaves frame the setting, while a silhouetted hen is visible in the distance.

Description: This is my mixed media painting of the famous Stonehenge landmark. In addition to acrylic, it includes watercolor with salt added for special effects on the stones. On the summer solstice at Stonehenge when the sky is clear, the sun rises behind the Heel stone, the ancient entrance to the circle, and rays of sunlight are channeled into the center of the monument. It is believed solstices have been celebrated at Stonehenge for thousands of years.

Description: I painted this acrylic painting from my inspiration of the scenic views of lakes in Missouri. I enjoy watching the activity of wildlife, people and boats moving around the lake. It is so relaxing. Some lakes in Missouri with some great scenic views include Table Rock Lake, Lake of the Ozarks and Truman Lake. A vast blue lake stretches into the distance, surrounded by lush green trees and dotted with sailboats and fishing vessels. A tall, bare tree stands on a rocky cliff overlooking the water under a partly cloudy sky.

Description: This is my watercolor painting of the famous Monument Valley, which is located on the Arizona and Utah state line. This park is a filming location for Western movies. In this painting are the West Mitten Butte, East Mitten Butte and Merrick Butte. I included a cowboy with horse on the John Ford point. Salt was used for the special effects on the rocks and mountains. A lone rider on horseback gazes across a vast desert landscape, with towering red rock formations under a sky filled with clouds. The scene evokes a sense of the American West with its rich, earthy tones and expansive horizon.

Description: This is my acrylic painting of a red barn along a country road. With my country roots, I am inspired to paint barns, especially old antique barns or red painted barns. A rustic red barn stands amidst tall golden wheat, with a tree casting shade over a dirt path leading towards it. Description: This is my watercolor tribute to those who sacrificed in the battle at Iwo Jima and the wars to protect our freedoms. Silhouetted figures work together to raise an American flag against a dramatic, cloudy sky. The scene conveys a sense of teamwork and patriotism as they struggle to plant the flag on rugged terrain. The monochrome background contrasts sharply with the vibrant red, white, and blue of the flag.

Description: This is my acrylic painting of an Ozark River. I went on a float trip on a river in southeast Missouri with some friends several years ago. We had fun, excitement and a few close calls on our journey down the river. Before our trip I had been studying some paintings of renowned artist from Missouri, Thomas Hart Benton. I learned that he had made a trip to the same river as a source for some of his paintings. On this trip, I was keenly more aware, and noticed all kinds of interesting reflections of colors, shapes and objects that could been seen in and around the gently flowing river. I was inspired about Thomas Hart Benton’s trip, his paintings and my experience on the river. I could hardly wait to get home and start painting.

Description: I just love old barns. This is my acrylic painting of an old barn at sunset. They don’t make them like they used to. The old ones made of wood look so interesting with the wear and tear, holes, missing and warped boards. So, I painted this old barn with a wind mill at one of my favorite times of the day, at sunset. A rustic barn stands amidst a field of tall grass under a vibrant sunset sky, with an old windmill nearby. The warm hues of orange and red in the sky contrast beautifully with the dark silhouette of the barn and surrounding foliage.

Description: This is my acrylic painting that was done from a photo of a sunset at Table Rock Lake. I love sunsets and lakes so this was a blast for me to paint. A reflective pool of water mirrors the silhouette of a tree, surrounded by dense foliage at the lake water's edge. The sky transitions from a deep blue to a warm orange as the sun sets behind the distant tree line.

Description: I used black paper to paint this field full of sunflowers near a farm at sunset. There is a barn and windmill on the horizon. I have seen this type of field in Kansas.

Description: I painted this landscape with three crosses and a powerful sunset at Golgotha. Golgotha, was, according to the Gospels, a site immediately outside Jerusalem's walls where Jesus was crucified. Matthew's and Mark's gospels translate the term to mean "place of [the] skull". About a stone's throw away from there is a vault wherein his body was laid, and rose again on the third day. He is Risen! Acts 4:33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all.

Description: This acrylic painting celebrates coming home for Christmas to a farm house in a snowscape as night approaches. This painting was done on half of a 4’x8’ sheet of plywood Christmas card that I painted for my Church. A cozy house with glowing windows sits amidst a snowy landscape, surrounded by pine trees under a starlit sky. Smoke curls up from the chimney, suggesting warmth inside despite the frosty surroundings. A small bridge spans a nearby stream, adding to the serene winter scene.

Description: I painted this acrylic painting with a winter scene heavy with snow and ice with persons driving the old red pick-up truck to bring home their Christmas tree. Description: This is my acrylic painting of a bridge over peaceful waters. This was done in a Claude Monet style with the water lilies. I have added iris flowers to the foreground. Description: This is my acrylic painting of a beautiful woman in Paris at night. For the sky I was inspired to paint my interpretation of Van Gogh’s famous “Starry Night” painting. The Eiffel Tower shines brightly among the stars in the sky. The woman has a cute dog at her side in her purse. I used a magenta pearlescent paint for her dress and the bow on her dogs’ head. A woman in a pink outfit stands in front of the Eiffel Tower, set against a swirling night sky reminiscent of Van Gogh’s style. She holds a small dog and wears a large black hat adorned with pink details.
