Description: I love tacos so I had to paint this acrylic painting of a prehistoric Tacosaurus adventure. A whimsical creature combines the features of a dinosaur and a taco, with vibrant toppings like lettuce and tomatoes along its back in the shell. The background features a warm, earthy tone that enhances the playful nature of the subject.

Description: I love tacos and I love cats so with acrylics, I had to paint this “tacocat” and spelled backwards, it is “tacocat.” A cat humorously dressed as a taco lies on a brown surface. The feline is encased in a taco shell, complete with toppings like lettuce and cheese scattered around.

Description: This is my mixed media painting of the famous Stonehenge landmark. In addition to acrylic, it includes watercolor with salt added for special effects on the stones. On the summer solstice at Stonehenge when the sky is clear, the sun rises behind the Heel stone, the ancient entrance to the circle, and rays of sunlight are channeled into the center of the monument. It is believed solstices have been celebrated at Stonehenge for thousands of years.

Description: I painted this acrylic painting from my inspiration of the scenic views of lakes in Missouri. I enjoy watching the activity of wildlife, people and boats moving around the lake. It is so relaxing. Some lakes in Missouri with some great scenic views include Table Rock Lake, Lake of the Ozarks and Truman Lake. A vast blue lake stretches into the distance, surrounded by lush green trees and dotted with sailboats and fishing vessels. A tall, bare tree stands on a rocky cliff overlooking the water under a partly cloudy sky.

Description: I was inspired to paint this mythical jellyfish with watercolors while vacationing in Florida. I got the idea while my Granddaughter was eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on a day when there were several jellyfish on the beach. There were purple flags warning of the jellyfish. A stylized jellyfish features intricate patterns in vibrant purple and golden hues. Its long tentacles swirl gracefully against a softly wavering blue background.

Description: This is my watercolor of a couple of people paragliding along the beach while I was vacationing in Florida. Two people are paragliding over a serene coastal landscape, with one chute in red and the other in yellow. Below, a wooden boardwalk leads through tall sea oats toward the calm sea.

Description: I love visiting and viewing Motif Number 1 and the harbor in Rockport, MA. After another vacation in the area, I was inspired to do this acrylic painting of Motif number 1 again. I love watching all the boats, birds and people in the harbor. So peaceful. All of the lobster buoys on the Motif number 1 really catch my eye! Brightly colored boats float on a serene harbor, with historic rustic red buildings providing a charming backdrop. Sailboats and structures can be seen in the distance, set against a peaceful sky.

Description: This is my watercolor painting of the famous Monument Valley, which is located on the Arizona and Utah state line. This park is a filming location for Western movies. In this painting are the West Mitten Butte, East Mitten Butte and Merrick Butte. I included a cowboy with horse on the John Ford point. Salt was used for the special effects on the rocks and mountains. A lone rider on horseback gazes across a vast desert landscape, with towering red rock formations under a sky filled with clouds. The scene evokes a sense of the American West with its rich, earthy tones and expansive horizon.

Description: This is my acrylic painting of a mammoth Bloody Mary cocktail. People gaze at the monstrosity in amazement. This was painted on red paper for the color of the drink, hot sauce and shrimp cocktail sauce to blend into the scene. Don’t drink and drive. A colorful cocktail brims with whimsical garnishes including celery, shrimp, and skewered olives, set against a vivid red backdrop. Bottles and a small glass accompany the decorated drink, creating a playful and surreal composition.

This is a series of four paintings with a growing number of butterflies in the cluster for each. Description: One night, my seven-year-old grandson was being told by his parents you’ve got to get to bed so you can get up early, at the “Crack of Dawn” to go fishing with Grandpa (me). Later he asked them what was a “crackadon”? This is my acrylic painting of my representation of the answer to his question, a Crackadon is a rare dinosaur, yawning at the Crack of Dawn. Later, we had a great time fishing together! Now the “Crackadon” fun family story is one we can pass along. A crackadon dinosaur with an exaggerated derrière stands in a volcanic landscape, its head tilted upwards as if roaring. The sun sets dramatically behind jagged mountains with vibrant colors streaking across the sky at the crack of dawn!
