Florida Beach Pillow

This is my plein air watercolor of the beach along the Emerald Coast of the Florida panhandle. I love watching the sea oats blow in the wind along the dunes of white sand. A tranquil seascape features a vast field of tall sea oats swaying gently in the foreground, while layers of rolling hills stretch toward a horizon under a dramatically cloudy sky. The use of muted earthy tones conveys a serene and natural atmosphere.
