Description: I painted this oval canvas “Season’s Greetings” to celebrate the big fall and winter seasons. First the pumpkins in the scene celebrate Halloween. The turkey is to celebrate Thanksgiving. To celebrate Christmas, I have the Christmas goose and the evergreen trees. Then the hunting seasons also fall during this time, represented by the deer, turkey and goose. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Description: I was inspired when I saw some California Quail on a vacation trip. I loved watching them run with their head plumes bobbing around. This is my acrylic painting of a pair of California Quail with some chicks. This part of my Toned Tan Paper series. A family of California quails gathers on the ground, with two adult birds and several chicks standing alert. Brown and beige hues dominate the scene, complemented by simple background grass strokes.

Description: This is my watercolor painting of the famous Monument Valley, which is located on the Arizona and Utah state line. This park is a filming location for Western movies. In this painting are the West Mitten Butte, East Mitten Butte and Merrick Butte. I included a cowboy with horse on the John Ford point. Salt was used for the special effects on the rocks and mountains. A lone rider on horseback gazes across a vast desert landscape, with towering red rock formations under a sky filled with clouds. The scene evokes a sense of the American West with its rich, earthy tones and expansive horizon.
