Description: This is my acrylic painting of a pair of cardinals in the cold winter snow. This painting is dedicated to Dixie Brooks, who loves cardinals and it was her high school team mascot. Description: This is my acrylic painting of a barn on a farm. I spent many weekends as a boy on a farm near Hume, Missouri, with my Grandparents. Lots of activities were around barns. Whether we were getting corn for the hogs, putting up hay, cleaning fish, or doctoring the cattle, we beat a good path to and from the barns. Grain was stored in the Butler bin on the left. We’d draw water out of the pump in front of the barn. If you look closely along the gravel road leading to the barn, you’ll see some quail. Quail were often heard and seen around the farm. I got the inspiration to create this acrylic painting from my times spent here and in remembrance of my Granddad and Grandma. I have since painted several barns and farm homes, on canvas and saw blade

Description: This is my mixed media painting of the famous Stonehenge landmark. In addition to acrylic, it includes watercolor with salt added for special effects on the stones. On the summer solstice at Stonehenge when the sky is clear, the sun rises behind the Heel stone, the ancient entrance to the circle, and rays of sunlight are channeled into the center of the monument. It is believed solstices have been celebrated at Stonehenge for thousands of years.

I love watching all the boats, birds and people in the harbor. So peaceful. All of the lobster buoys on the Motif number 1 really catch my eye! In this painting are the West Mitten Butte, East Mitten Butte and Merrick Butte. I included a cowboy with horse on the John Ford point.
