Description: This is my acrylic painting of a peacock fanning out his feathers. They fan out their tail feathers to tempt pea hens and shake them in a behavior called train rattling. The Indian peafowl is also known as the common peafowl and blue peafowl. Male peafowl are called peacocks, and females are called pea fowl or peahens. Peacocks are the national bird of India. The intricate patterns create a sense of movement and majesty.
Description: This is my acrylic painting of an albatross soaring across the sea. These birds have a very large wingspan, some up to 11 feet. Albatrosses can travel long distances with dynamic and slope soaring. They have been called the most legendary of all birds. Albatrosses can be seen as a sign of good or bad luck. A large albatross with black and white plumage soars gracefully over a calm, blue sea. In the distance, a small sailboat is visible against a backdrop of soft, fluffy clouds and several other flying birds.
Description: This is my acrylic painting of an Allen’s hummingbird that is drinking nectar from the hibiscus flowers. These small birds breed in the western United States. The name of this bird is from Charles Andrew Allen, who identified the bird in California in 1879. A hummingbird with vibrant green and brown plumage hovers amidst a pattern of large, vivid red hibiscus flowers. The composition captures the delicate balance and beauty of nature.

Description: This is my mixed media painting with watercolor and acrylics of the waterfalls at Yellowstone Park. This is the view from “Artist Point” of the upper and lower waterfalls at the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. I was very inspired to paint this landscape after seeing it in person. A vibrant depiction of a canyon with a river snaking through it, surrounded by lush greenery and rocky cliffs. A waterfall cascades at the far end, adding movement and depth to the scene.

Description: This is my mixed media painting with watercolor and acrylics while overlooking the Grand Prismatic Spring with its striking colors at Yellowstone National Park. I was inspired to paint this geological wonder after seeing it in person. This is the view of the spring that is overlooking it from a trail about 100 feet above it. This is the largest hot spring in the United States and third largest in the world. Bold colors radiate from the spring, creating a stunning contrast with the dark silhouettes of nearby trees.
Description: This is my watercolor of a sunset at the mountains, which was an inspiration for me to paint after seeing this scene on a trip.
