Description: This is my acrylic painting of Motif number 1. I was so inspired to draw and paint the famous Motif #1 building near sailboats in Rockport, MA. Many lobster buoys hang on the outside of the building. The historic red wooden fishermen structure sits on a pier beside a vibrant blue sea, adorned with colorful lobster buoys and surrounded by several small sailboats. The sky is filled with soft clouds, creating a serene coastal scene.

Some have been seen with more of a blue shade. I was inspired to paint this one with a darker blue shade. Description: This is my acrylic painting of a barn on a farm. I spent many weekends as a boy on a farm near Hume, Missouri, with my Grandparents. Lots of activities were around barns. Whether we were getting corn for the hogs, putting up hay, cleaning fish, or doctoring the cattle, we beat a good path to and from the barns. Grain was stored in the Butler bin on the left. We’d draw water out of the pump in front of the barn. If you look closely along the gravel road leading to the barn, you’ll see some quail. Quail were often heard and seen around the farm. I got the inspiration to create this acrylic painting from my times spent here and in remembrance of my Granddad and Grandma. I have since painted several barns and farm homes, on canvas and saw blade
